Late DVD
Nick Barrett "Major apologies to everyone about the delay of the new DVD Out Of Order Comes Chaos.........er, it's my fault!
The reason? I received the proof copy from the master a week ago, this is the last and final check before it goes to manufacture,
and there was something not quite right about the sound, everyone kept saying it sounds fine but it didn't to me and I wasn't going to let it go.
As it turned out, the authoring studio admitted something was done in the coding which stretched the soundtrack and made it sound over compressed and lacking in dynamics.
I've put a massive amount of time into mixing this with Karl and working on the vision edit, I really want it to be the best we've done, I was not about to let it fall at the last hurdle, hence...it's been delayed.
I don't really like "pre selling" something like this, but we hit a problem, some dealers started advertising and pre selling our dvd without even knowing the dealer price, they are that desperate get every single sale they can, this I'm afraid is now common practice, they will do ANYTHING to get the sale, even if it means losing money on this title, [they will make up for it on some other release] so we had to start presales so we at least stood some chance of selling some copies of our own dvd to our audience.
The good news, is that we hope to have some copies earlier than the projected May 21st release date set by Metal Mind, in which case we will ship yours out to you as soon as they arrive.
